This issue occurs when the same trip appears multiple times within Advanced IFTA, potentially causing mileage inflation and inaccurate tax calculations.
Possible Causes #
- Duplicate synchronization
- Provider data duplication
- Manual import performed multiple times
- Import process interrupted and restarted
- ELD provider reporting error
Resolution #
- Review trip records for duplicate entries.
- Compare trip start and end times.
- Identify duplicate mileage records.
- Remove duplicate trips if permitted.
- Re-run synchronization.
- Verify corrected mileage totals.
