Description #

This issue occurs when the same trip appears multiple times within Advanced IFTA, potentially causing mileage inflation and inaccurate tax calculations.

Possible Causes #

  • Duplicate synchronization
  • Provider data duplication
  • Manual import performed multiple times
  • Import process interrupted and restarted
  • ELD provider reporting error

Resolution #

  1. Review trip records for duplicate entries.
  2. Compare trip start and end times.
  3. Identify duplicate mileage records.
  4. Remove duplicate trips if permitted.
  5. Re-run synchronization.
  6. Verify corrected mileage totals.
