Description #

Duplicate fuel purchases occur when the same fuel transaction is entered more than once. Duplicate transactions can inflate fuel totals, distort MPG calculations, and affect IFTA tax calculations.

Possible Causes #

• Duplicate manual entry
• Fuel card imported multiple times
• OCR processed receipt twice
• Multiple users entered same transaction
• Synchronization duplication

Resolution #

1. Review transaction history.
2. Compare purchase date, location, and gallons.
3. Identify duplicate entries.
4. Remove duplicate transactions.
5. Verify corrected fuel totals.
6. Regenerate fuel reports.
7. Review Fuel Purchase Variance Exceptions.
